what is difference between Marble ,Granite , Quartz

Marble

Marble has a softer look, heat-resistant , extremely light, Popular choice for fireplaces

Marble is expensive as compared to granite and quartz

– It is porous, require extra care and can stain even from water easily. needs to be cleaned after every use

Granite

Hard stone and 100% natural , heat-resistant and less porous than marble

It has little color option ,needs to be sealed  every year, Messes should be cleaned as quickly as possible, high installation costs  ,the seams joining different slabs will be visible.

Quartz

  • 95 % ground natural quartz and 5 % polymer resins, has a large variety of color, have a uniform color, none porous, anti-bacterial, resistant to staining, harder than granite, low-maintenance ,seam visibility is less noticeable. As a man-made stone, its patterns are consistent ,highly durable, has milky-white grains
  • can be damaged by excessive heat, It’s also not as heat-resistant as the former two stones (the heat will discolor the resin), hot pots and pans are placed not directly on the counter’s surface
  • Quartz is more durable, whereas marble is more heat-resistant

What’s the Difference between Laminate and Vinyl Flooring?

Laminate is made of 99% wood byproducts. It’s also called composite or floating wood tile. It’s composed of several layers of rigid, high-density fiberboards that are laminated together into planks. It often floats, which means it can snap and click over an existing floor without being nailed or glued down. It can also be glued to a subfloor.

Luxury vinyl, which isn’t to be confused with sheet vinyl, It’s made of several layers of (PVC) while the top layer is coated with urethane. It is a durable, affordable, and beautiful alternative to hardwood flooring. However it is a softer material than most laminates, hardwoods and tiles.

Luxury vinyl comes in two forms:

  • Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) – These long planks can look of traditional hardwood floors. They can float, be glued down, or snap together.
  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) –, it is cut into tile-sized pieces and rectangles. It’s better suited for imitating materials like stone, granite, and concrete. LVT can float peel-and-stick, be glued down, or snap together for easy installation.
